A home invasion was reported in Rice Lake Township on Monday.
A male victim was inside a residence when two white male assailants made a forced entry at 10:23 a.m.
One of the intruders brandished a long gun while inside the residence.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and said information on the suspect is limited.
The male victim escaped the house without injury, and when he returned he found his 2003 Black Range Rover was missing. An acquaintance of the victim found the vehicle less than a mile away with all four tires slashed.
Sgt. Jason Lukovsky of the Sheriff’s Office said preliminary investigation suggests the incident is not a random act of violence.
